smoke coming from valve cover breather

my lt1 has roughly 2500 miles on it and i just noticed smoke(blow by?) coming from my breather on my passengers valve cover under light throttle to wot that almost smells like rich exhaust,is this normal on an lt1?if not what should i do?im in the midst of installing nitrous and i wanna make sure everything is good before i spray it,thanks in advance.

I would say worn valve guide. One thing to think of. When it warms up does it go away? Because If you let your engine sit a while the valve guides get dry and it tends to blow by some oil until it lubs Mine smokes a bit now to b/c it has been sitting.

nah it seems to get a little worse once it warms up,but it does sit alot,so would i have to have new valve guides pressed into the heads?
