Hey everyone... I am in the process of getting my LS2 together to install later this month which leaves me with a question regarding the Holley accessory brackets.
Is anyone using the Holley drivers side their Alt/PS bracket? It is currently mocked up on my engine and I am concerned the ps pump pulley is going to hit the steering box. Curious if anyone else is running this?
i was going to use the holley brackets but i went with the dirty dingo factory style power steering pump mount and low alternator mount using a truck alternator, the steering pitman arm looks like it will be close but it doesn't hit.
The fitment results you will achieve with the Holley alt/PS bracket is dependent on the specific engine brackets you use and what accessory drive offset you want to use.
This image shows the PS pump pulley clearance with the engine mounted using the Hooker 3rd-gen F-body LS swap engine brackets and the Holley bracket installed at the truck FEAD offset.
I am running those brackets with Spohn engine mounts, using the medium spacer brackets, I have plenty of room.
Only "problem" I have is that the PS pulley is not in alignment with the rest of the accessories. I even ground more clearance on the back of the pulley "hub" and it is still a little off. It works fine, the belt just polishes the pulley and it squeaks because of it. I think I need to grind a little more off the pulley, and hopefully it doesn't hit the bracket around the circumference out near the belt

My setup is with the Holley/Hooker engine mounts and the Corvette spacers for the brackets.
Based on the pictures you posted it is hard to say if the belt will go on the PS pulley and will it rub during movement of the engine. Do you have any insight as to if this will work?
The other potential option I see is running the Low LS Accessory Drive Bracket (P/N 20-155).

I can take one, but remembering to take it will be the problem, lol. I also haven't driven the car since it snowed, it is normally my daily driver, so it would normally be at work and I could just go out to the parking lot to look at it

There was no potential interference issues present with the Holley alternator bracket positioned at the truck offset. There maybe be interference with it aligned at the F-body, or Corvette offsets as you've discovered. The stock F-body and Holley low-mount accessory drive set-ups would both work great on your car...this image will give you an idea as to how much clearance you would have with your steering box in such cases.
Thanks Todd. I ordered the low mount bracket yesterday, looks like it will be here on Friday.
The last piece of this puzzle is the exhaust. I have the Hooker long tubes installed and would like the Holley exhaust. Looking on Holley's website shows the following ship dates:
70501326-RHKR - 1/2/2018
70501426-RHKR - 2/23/2018
Atech shows 1/3/2018 for both, but I am lead to believe these are just default dates based on your website showing 2/23 for the 409SS exhaust.
Any insight you have ahead of me ordering is appreciated.
I'm admittedly quite useless when it comes to production/order/shipping information as I have no connection to those functions of the business. I design new products and "throw them over the wall" to the production team and then move on to the next project. Providing users with technical/fitment information related to any of the Hooker LS swap products is what I can do more comprehensively than anyone else here at Holley, which is the reason for my engagement with forums such as these. Whatever availability info you can get from the Holley website or customer service phone line is as good as any I can give you.
