Yea, I don't know the paint code but it would definitely look good on the Camaro.

I would never pay that for some clear. Even if it didn't fade.

i figured i would throw my opinion out there, idk how much you have thought about it but i dont think that color would look to great on a thirdgen, i think the main reason why that color even looks good on the zr1 is because of the curvature of the car and all the tasteful accents the car has. if it was me in your shoes if i was to repaint it i would keep it red. i think the grey could look good but i think you would be much happier with a fresh red paint job. now that is only my opinion so dont let it sway your decision i just figured i would throw it out there.
when i wanted to paint my iroc i did not want to go back with the maroon color, i wanted to go with the SOM. but i am glad i repainted it the stock color it looks outstanding, it was a hard decision though knowing how crappy the paint looked on it but just fresh paint helped the car a TON.

Re: Paint my car this color????
just alittle note on that super expensive clear for those not in the know, that is special carbon-fiber clear. Alot if not most of the ZR1's shell is Carbon Fiber. Any Carbon fiber that is not painted over requires a very special clear coat. Most clears fade, peel, or discolor on raw Carbon fiber. This clear coat is so expensive because it does none of those things and allowed GM to put unpainted CF on the ZR1. Probably msotly for style. Also, I think GM actually owns the patent for this special clear.
