Ok so I figured Id make a general build thread for my 1LE. I bought the car a few months as a 1 owner 150k mile car. Mostly stock, with aparently a bad transmission, It went out while i was driving it home, threw a used spare I had into it and promptly broke it at the track a week later...So that brings us up to speed. You might have seen my T56 or 700R4 thread the last few days also, so as it stands I have one more used trans (got from my buddy) that I will be throwing in Saturday just so the car can be driven while I source the T56 swap parts. My plans for the car are pretty simple, T56, ZR1 rims, headers, cam swap, tune, roll bar, and various suspension upgrades as I start doing some autox... So now for the good part, pics!!!

One reason the "unknown condition extra trans" didnt last...


Swapping Hoods, still having to fight to get it adjusted right...



Also took the peeling side mouldings off, and the louvers went bye bye

AWESOME car, and you've done some GREAT worK,

BUT ... A/C with Z28 badging = not a 1LE .. does it have the 1LE RPO code on the sticker ? I've been wrong lots of times before

Yeah its a 1LE, I have the RPO Code, look close thats not stock A/C original owner bought the car under the condition that he would have A/C added. It was the only way his wife would let him get it lol...Its had 2 different Ac setups over the years, I have all the original parts they came with the car. I was wondering when someone would bring up the AC compressor in the the engine bay lol, didnt take long...

Some did i believe, but plenty of 1les had radios...
