pics of my LS1 GTA with Bogarts

Sold the prostars and radials and stepped up to some real wheels They are Bogart DS wheels, 3.5" and 10"... 28x10.50ET drags and 26x4.50 ET fronts. Hoping for some 1.4 60's now... pulled 1.53's on the old drag radials. We shall see. Once I get a few other things done I'm shooting for very low 10's on the bottle once its sorted out... rowing the gears myself of course. Whatcha guys think?

I can't believe how light these things are

Looks great, I really like that look. I've always wanted to get some Bogart or Holeshot rims just to be different since everyone has Prostars.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

As for the plate, I've always wanted something like that on the plates. There's definitely people quicker but it holds its own. I haven't really got to race many people with it.

I doubt it would cut 1.51's if I lowered it If I lowered the back any the 28's would be rubbing.

Re: pics of my LS1 GTA with Bogarts

whats the backspacing on the wheels. i tried some of my dads from his 77ta and he runs 28in tall daily so he has extra drag radials and slicks , i put the drag radials on and they just touch , if i rolled my fender they would clear and im lowered on sportlines. They are 15x8 with 4.5 bs with a 275 60 15 i think thats the correct size.

15x10 with 7.5"BS... 4th gen 9" rearend. My fenders are rolled as well. I could possible lower it a tad but I don't want to in fear that it won't hook. Lowered 6spd cars usually don't do too well at the track.

Here is my cardomain page, lots of pics/info. I've had the car since May '99 when it was stock and I've done everything my self except the LS1 wiring/tuning. Its started out a 305/5spd, then 305/6spd, then 355/6spd, then 346LS1/6spd, now a 402LSX/6spd.

Hey, I was just looking at your interior, and I see you got that 3 spoke wheel installed. How was the install on that? Looks alot better than the stocker.

Steering wheel install was easy... remove old wheel and airbag, trim back collar of 3 spoke wheel, install it and done. I like it ALOT more.
