Seems a little on the slow end for a 350 TPI especially with a 3.73 rear gear. 
Was everything running ok?

my 89 Formula 305 TBI ran 15's and it was all stock, stock 2.73 open rear diff and a B&M shift improver kit in my 100,000 mile 700R4

Sorry,found out its a 88-94 roller block, 305 
lol Guess im building that l98 i have in my storage unit heh
I was running a 350 chip at that time, Im getting a memcal adapgter and going to get a 305 chip, should hit low 15's
