The Nighthawk is Dead
My car has died after 24 yrs. I named it the Nighthawk and had the name put on the back and sides. My #2 son was hit by a drunk driver in it and it was totaled! Fortunately my son was not hurt, except his heart, he felt so bad about my car.
This is my car shortly after completing it in 98.

Thank God he is ok. It's sad about what happened to the car, but in the end the most important thing is your sons health

Glad your son is ok! Especially since our cars aren’t known for their safety. Beautiful car though and even more stunning because of the hood
As sad as this is, I can’t feel bad for the car as it did it’s job to keep your son alive.

Definitely sucks about the car. Maybe you and your son can buy another that needs a little work and have a good father/son project making it the NightHawk II.
