Yeah, I saw that already... Looks pretty good bro... But while you are spending time on that, I am spending time tuning my car to snag that 3rd place spot

Now here's a guy that loves his unique 3rd gen. Good stuff Joey.

But while you are spending time on that, I am spending time tuning my car to snag that 3rd place spot
Better be some awesome tuning to gain a full second and take my spot.

Re: Check it out

You would be surprised. Besides, I was told on wednesday they don't prep the track at all. And the do during a T&T, so I have a feeling that is where my traction issue is... All I can say is watch out. Besides, if need be, I have nothing holding me back from a bottle.

That has always been the case and the reason I rather pay for a Grudge Night, or TNT.

If you have slicks, or can launch well with DR's, you may not notice the lack of VHT as much and can reap the benefit from the cheaper Wed. nights.

Don't expect to go from 2.2 60's to 1.7 or anything, but you should feel a diff @ a TNT.

I cut many 2.1's, but my 13.7 run had a 2.2... I am not expecting to cut a 1.7, I am planning on cutting a 1.8 on a T&T

I will guarantee my car will go 12's as is... I just need to seal my superram again and try for the 3rd time to get rid of my vacuum leaks. Besides, I trapped at 103 with a 2.4, I think that trap speed will give me 12's.

Will vacuum leaks make my car run that much slower though?

Want to put some friendly $$ on that guarantee next week?

That 2.4 60' indicates you were probably spinning your tires quite a bit at launch, which can attribute to that higher, deceiving trap speed of 103.

Whatever your trap on the many 2.1's you had is probably a better indicator.

Sorry to hijack Joey!

No money down, I need more track time and get my launches down. I am not here to lose money, I guess I am more so hoping to hit 12's as is. I just don't know when.

Word. I'm right there with ya.
The wager idea was just to make you think twice before guaranteeing such a thing.
Best of luck to you. Maybe after your fixes you will notice a gain in power.

I can only hope. I gopped RTV on both sides the gasket, so it should have a good seal. I am almost done with dealing with the Superram. I mean, I saw some sell for $1200 on ebay... If I could get a grand for mine, I would...

-Stealthram used with rails and everything ($400)
-Bigger Cam (300) I already have better valve springs...
-4th gen rearend ($300)

But then again, out of everyone, Joey has the best potential. Pretty much Stock ls1 running with modded TPI... All he needs is a cam and exhaust and he will be far gone.

And Joey, that headlights are going to look BAD ***! Can't wait to see the finished product.

Indeed, that's part of the fun. The LS1 has quite the advantage to start.

This is true lol Bone stock LS1 making 12.9 at 106mph i dont know. Just wait till i install a new better flowing intake manifold. I should be down to maybe 12.7. We will have to wait and find out. and if i did my calculation correctly i might gain a HP or 2 just by doing the BMW mod Still debating on getting L/T. Just by doing that alone will speed me up big time

Thanks Aaron for the kind words homie!!

Re: Check it out

She's doing well. I was tempted to trade her in on a G8 or even trying to find an '05 or better GTO but thought it pointless. She starts every morning and doesn't miss a beat. How could I betray that kind of loyalty?

Job going well? Got any kids yet? Guessing by the car I would say the job is awesome and there ain't no kids.
