Got bored, made a video....

Don't expect anything major or ground breaking as the software I used to make it is about as simple as it gets! Windows Movie maker (blah! )

Just a bunch of clips from Route 66 when I was there for Test n' Tune over a year ago with Tim, Andrew, and Mike. 5 out of the 9 clips were of thirdgens. Some kicking booty, others (mine really) not kicking any booty......

Lots of 11 and low 12 passes in there, and one 63 Stingray funny car running down in the 7's after letting off the gas.

Right click -> Save as.... 10 megs

Hey if anyone wants to get together this weekend, I can show my movie i made in one of my classes. That is if don't mind watching a DVD with a v6 camaro, '85 Broughtham, and a 2001 Cav. I got bored of working on it for 11 weeks and added a silly twist at the end.

I need some better video editing software! WMM is TOO damn simple for what i want to do, and I have idea's damnit. LOTS of them for a video.

BTW, sooooo apparently no likes the video, and no one hates the video because of the lack of responces. Granted, its simple, but hey it works.

And yes, I did cut the video clip of my car short , cause 15.3 @ 87 don't look too good.

Maybe a video with the new combo is in the future.

I thought it was sweet, some quick cars If it makes you feel better I'll let you run my TBI so that you can get a vid of you beating someone

BTW off topic has anybody heard of the autobahn road course track thats suppose to be finished next year by Route 66? I was talking to some guy at superchevy and he was saying they are building 2 courses one 2 mile and one 3 mile and connects the 2 for bigger events, says he drives past the track on the way home.

Holy crap! That might just meet Road America, one of the worlds largest closed course race tracks!

BTW, one lap around Road America is like 4 something miles!!! I'd LOVE to run at Road America.

I think I was the first to see this video besides Bill himself That's probably why I didn't post on this because he showed it to me already

In any case, I like the video, and I was the one that pointed out the video cutting out right before his time is shown, lol!

Also, that road course sounds VERY fun because that's a bit more fun (to me) than dragging straight all the time..

I told him I'll give him Adobe Premier and After Effects and he seemed overly excited...kinda weird actually..

All of our cars are out of commission currently, what's going on? I hope to have mine movable by tonight and stoppable by the weekend..

Funny, you know my last car ended its life upside down in a creek at the bottom of a 10' ditch because its brakes weren't working right.. lol sure was fun though

Yes, that was a funny story, glad your still here to tell it.

No, what about the time when I was 7 and I got chased out of a 30ft tall tree by a mother squirrel cause we peaked in her nest. We didn't so much as climb down and jumped out of the tree and hoped we didn't hit any branches on the way down!!!!

Nah, we didn't forget you Dominic, but you need to create a low-res version and post it up for us! As long as you keep it to 20megs or less I can host it pretty easy.

Devry recently reduced my web accounts from 1gig of space to 200megs, and its pretty filled with crap.

crazy3rdgen- I'm based outta the northwest corner of Indiana for now. Not quite sure where I'll end up after college.

As for my made for TV movie; I'm gonna need some help with bringing down the size from a DVD. I'll ask around because multi-media has never been my strongpoint. But I'll see what I can do. I lived and breathed Adobe Premier for 11 weeks. I'm glad I learned sumpthin, LOL.

If you use one of the presets you should be able to shrink it down pretty good.

Just keep the resolution to about 320x240. Select 512kbps video for LAN and it should produce a decent quality clip, it will also help you with web hosting if the video isn't too big.
