dyno day interest spring 08 ?

just checking to see if we'd have any interest in a dyno day. Looking like $70 for 2 pulls with a quickie tune in between. Need around 10 cars for the spring. Dyno is in schiller park, but could also do various south side dynos as well for similar pricing.

Re: dyno day interest spring 08 ?

Sounds good to me if it's on a Dynojet. I might be interested in going last if there's some extra time left to do some more tuning, I'll pay more of course. Mid-March to Mid-April would be my time frame.

Re: dyno day interest spring 08 ?

yes it's a dynojet, very nice setup and the newer software, I was there last friday night for 2 and a half hours tuning a buddies mustang. We picked up an extra 30 rwhp and 42 ft/lbs of torque with my tuning over a previous tune that he had done. If you have slicks or drag radials I would go with them since the street tires he had on sometimes went up in smoke

TJ, how many pulls do you think you'll want to do? We averaged around 5pulls an hour with it being $170 an hour for a single vehicle. Each hour after that the price would drop by $20 or so.

Re: dyno day interest spring 08 ?

Steve, an hour would probably be good. We'll see what happens, right now I don't know the jetting I need but a buddy is going to look up what he used to use. If all goes well, I'll be close when I strap it down and I'll only be messing with timing.

Re: dyno day interest spring 08 ?

i'll be picking up a wideband in the spring, that's really the way to get close before the dyno. Interesting to hear that you're carb now welcome to the dark side.
