Post your best streetable ETs

It would be nice to see what kind of 1/4 mile runs people are running with streetable rides. Im talking grocery getters that dont get the cops attention everytime you get to a traffic light but yet do well at the track. It would be nice to post what your cam , heads, and any other specs you would like to include.

I got a 14.6 with a 2.1 60' in my friends 86 peg-leg Sport Coupe. It has a reproduction truck 350 with forged flat tops and a towing cam. He delivers pizza's in it everyday. It still gets some attention tho because his dad is a painter so they did a nice paint job on it.

15.202 @ 89.65mph with prob the worst racing conditions possible.

Just a stock(catback, airbox yaddi yadda) 87 IROC. IT gets attention, but not really.

My buds sport coupe that he built before ran 14.001 @ 95.66mph. Busted up fenders, 3 diff colors, mismatched wheels, Auto, LG4 with 150 shot.

Well you would have to more clearly define grocery getter!

I have many times taken my car to get groceries many times...
Have driven it on 600-700 mile trips and gotten over 20 mpg
Its sorta loud - but so is my truck.
It has a lopy idle.
It runs on 93 octane even on the bottle.
I don't want to drive it everyday, but do take to work.. Usually not though
because I work 6am-6pm - Neighbors don't like it at 5:00am
It has a cage and manual steering - but also has power windows
and rear hatch

10.87 natural
10.0 125 shot.

daily driver (only car) 350 went 12.16@110mph with traction issues and not a full tune before i cracked the block

new 305 has been 12.50@106.8mph with little tuning and only 250miles on the combo. i'm hoping for some 11.9x's after lots of tuning a bit more chassis tweakin'.

350 got 15/21mpg w/ 750 double pumper
305's done 16/22mpg so far w/ 650 double pumper.

car has no HVAC system and has manual steering but full interior and power windows and all that. it's super streetable.

I'm with 87_TA, need to better describe grocery getter...

I too have many times taken my car to get groceries.
Have driven it on 600mile trips(1200 round trip)to go racing and gotten around 20 mpg.
Its quiet, never think it was an 11 second car, let alone a 10 second car.
It runs on 93 octane, but better with some good gas and more boost.
I don't want to drive it everyday, but do take to work.. especially in the summer. I leave at 5:30 am but it's quiet enough not to bother anybody.
It has an 8-point bar and no radio(booost controller is mounted there) - but also has power windows, power steering, and power rear hatch. It's no lightweight at 3650lbs raceweight.

11.20 @ 120mph 19psi and 93 octane pumpgas
10.69 @ 125mph 25psi and 116 octane racegas

Times with old TE64-1 turbo, no new times yet with new CCH-70 turbo but it should be a little quicker

1.540-60'

4.719-330

94.95-MPH1

7.383-660

9.676-990

118.0-MPH2

11.601-1320 On engine alone.

Not exactly a daily driver, but if my family car broke down, I would not be afraid to drive my Formula out of state, if I had to. I admit, its not driven alot, except for nice days, car cruises, and to the track. It has seen trips to the grocery store, except I try to park FAR AWAY from other cars, and shopping carts.

You seem to understand what im saying fine because everything you described is what I mean by a grocery getter. Feel free to show what your running because it would be very interesting to see.

Car: 1987 Z28 Convertible

In 2001, this was my daily-driven car:

12.004 @ 117.62 mph

305 TPI / Auto / 3.73
D1SC Supercharger
Single Intercooler
Emissions Legal
E/T Streets - Does this disqualify me as being "streetable"???

I still own the car but it's no longer my daily driver. However, it is still emissions legal. No track results yet.....

Same as others above. I don't daily drive the car much but take the family for ice cream, sometimes run to the store, etc. in it and am not too worried about being pulled over.

Details in sig....car runs in the high 11s at altitude.

Car has been in parades, cruises, used it to do estimating for my job, ice cream runs, grocery runs, cross town treks and kicking azz when the need arised. Full interior with stereo system including subs and ran it's best pass on 92 octane and mufflers. Not the fastest car in town but for what it was the power brakes worked as good as any driver and never winched at any circumstance I drove it in...cept rain with my DOT slicks

I drove my car to the track one night on good year rsa 235-70-15 tires on the rear. in full street trim went 11.40 best @ 122mph drove it home pump gas. I also drive it around town anywhere from 50-100 mile trips with it. If the ride is longer than that I will trailer it. This combo on a slick will run 11.0-11.10s.@120-121mph.

See my signature for my setup. Its very streetable, I wouldn't want a daily driver this radical but for a weekend cruise its fun. I drive to local cruise-ins and car shows on the weekends with no problems. And I don't own a trailor so I have to drive it to the track. The combo has more left in it, I'm sure its capable of high 10's with some more tuning.
