Driveshaft questions

Alright well I just destroyed my 1st 700r4 and I want to upgrade to a TH400. I know I'll need a diffrent driveshaft since the th400 is shorter. My question is since I have a 10 bolt right now and a 9" going in next winter, will I need to have the DS shortened once the 9" goes in or will it be able to be kept the same length?

Re: Driveshaft questions

Is it a correct length TH400 DS? So the 3rd member wont stick out more and then need the DS shortened?

Re: Driveshaft questions

I had 3 different rear ends in my car while my car sat in my driveway for the past few months, 10 bolt, 9" and my current 12 bolt. This driveshaft fit all of them.

Anyway you can tell me the length? I want to measure and make sure. How much are you looking to get?
