Many thanks for the pic. Let me see if I can find out from another board member if it is the same part for 'Birds and 'Maros. Do you know if the cable and latch were working properly when removed from the car?

Thanks again for your time, man, I do appreciate it.

Dave

Would you be willing to hold it for me until this afternoon, when I get home, and can check my hood release handle just to see if it physically looks the same? No one has responded to my post about whether Camaros and Birds used the same hardware here. Can you also shoot a pic of the latch so I can try to compare it to mine?

Sold

Do you care whether I pay via PayPal with my credit card, or by using a direct transfer from a bank? I prefer the credit card route, but I'm not sure if everyone can accept them through PP.

Really? Then why did he say it was still for sale, and then post the pics I had asked for? I mean if it is, then fine, but he needs to make it clear.

Since RS was the first person to say he wanted it, even though he didn't follow through, I'll give him a chance to pay you for it and complete the deal. I like to make friends in the hobby, not be a shark about parts. If he doesn't pay you by tonight, let me know and I'll pay you instantly

Bull, if you REALLY need it right now then go ahead and get it. I still have a ways to go with my restoration. I was going to get it and put it up til I needed it.

I would rather make a friend than to make 500 enemies.

Well, my hood release isn't working properly, so I thought I'd pick this up and see if swapping the parts into my car would solve the problem. I'm not desperate for it, I just want to be able to pop my hood open without having to tap it in the "sweet spot" to get it to release.

Looks like we are both decent guys...who's going to take it? lol, I don't know, what do you think?
