I'm parting out a '89, will they be the same? Can you send me a pic or tell me where it is. I'm a Camaro guy. I'll be selling or trading Firebird specific parts.

I've been wondering what that was since Camaro's don't have them. As it turns out I'm working on a '91 Firebird. I'll test it out and let you know.

Sorry man, it would only lift the passenger side and wouldn't close it. It's junk. Good luck with the search.

Headlight relay

I have one in my 87 GTA. The headlight motor gears are stripped. If I turn the headlight switch on- they run. If I turn the headlight switch off- they run. I guess it is good right? Don't know if it fits a 91. Interested?

It is the same module 1987-92. However to test it properly the bushings in the gears must be good. That way you'll know that the module is turning the motors off when it senses the current spike from the motors hitting the stops and not just turning them off by timing out. I've had modules that were bad only because they wouldn't turn the motors off from the current spike. You'd hear the motors continue to make noise after they hit their stops until the module timed out (roughly 5-7 seconds). Nothing hurt by trying the module out, you just wouldn't want to continue to use it long-tern if it does turn out to be bad since it would wear out the bushings or gears quicker.
