I didn't use the Filter Mag but employed the idea and stuck a bunch of high strength magnets to my oil filter, bottom of the oil pan, on the oil drain plug and stuck a few in each end of each cylinder had near the oil drain back holes.
I bought the magnets from Princess Auto, at a fraction of the cost of the Filter Mag.

It doesn't really matter.. Just go the the store and buy a bunch of them. You'll find lots of uses for them.
