454 blew up
"new guy here, I have a 94 class A motorhome that has a gen5 454 in it w/ 80k on it."
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tech...4-blew-up.html
OMG - now we're including Class A motorhomes as a 3rd gen F-body?
Come on! It's getting out of hand don't you think?
Sad part is, not one but two mods answered. At least they could have explained the 3rd gen related requirement in the thread, locked the thread, and PM'd the poster explaining the requirement, and answering his questions in PM if they so desired to help.
At least it was in General Tech. And the poster could have just not stated what the 454 was in, and no one would have been the wiser. But - we see a title like that, and we are looking for info about 454's specifically in 3rd gen cars, not in Class A's!
I'm really not opposed to helping anyone with any car issue if I can, but - this is supposed to be 3rd gen related site - there are clearly sites all over the web for misc and specific GM tech.
Can the developers not make a bold statement at the top of each forum - something that blinks, flashes, is in 18pt type, a bright color maybe - that discourages posts not 3rd gen related? I know it's not hard, I program HTML myself!
What about a small fee required to post? Most won't waste their time with a fee, and it'll keep TGO THIRD GEN F-BODY related!
No one that actually uses and enjoys the site would oppose to $5 annually.

Please report the post and let the staff take care of the issue. As our rules state:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/anno....php?f=54&a=60
Report the post, via clicking on the located in the offending post, and let the staff take care of it. If you believe your concern has not been addressed, or if you simply wish to notify me, send me a PM.
I will lock the post, as it isn't Third Gen related. I was not made aware, until now.
A fee to post on this website would kill this community, and just about any other community for that matter as the content will (and usually is) available somewhere via the Internet.
Thank-you.
