my car was equipped with the 2.73 gears also and i swapped them out with 3.42's just like you did according to gps 105 is when my limiter kicks in

thanks for replying broadcast code is ATNY i asked a while back in the prom section and a couple guys there said that it was a correct code for a '90 so it is definitely weird:confused:

the thin that the two vacuum lines are going to is the EGR solenoid, it is directly under the ignition coil. The MAP sensor is mounted on the upper plenum above the solenoid.

you might be able to get them on with the plugs in but the passenger side will be very difficult to do with out hitting the plugs and possibly cracking the ceramic

i hate to have to tell you this but your trans took a s***. Burnt fluid can mean a couple things, too much heat, or internal damage . and the only way to fix is to have it rebuilt or buy a new trans....

i just found out that my 1990 305 tpi has 187 tbi heads on it i have base timing set at 8 degrees and i am getting a little spark knock and bad gas mileage will it run better if i set timing at tbi...

sound alot like a vacuum leak to me. my car does the same and i did a smoke test and found that i have a large vacuum leak on both ends of my throttle shaft in my throttle body
