Nope, I have a fully blueprinted 350 Tpi from an 86 vette that hit 310 on the dyno before the edelbrock headers, dual exhaust and jet chip was installed.
Like I said, It's almost bonestock.

You can also go through summit racing and get a set of fiberglass doors that also have the safety crossmember in them like the stock doors, only they way a whole lot less.

The good thing was that when they blueprinted the vettes block they put iron heads and the stock intake setup on it, my only problem now is trying to figure out why i keep tripping code 34 and...

My 86 keeps coming up with code 34, and fails smog because the hydrocarbons are way up there, I took out the mass airflow unit and ran the part numbers on it and only one supplier in the world...

Crane cams still has a compucam 2000, thats what i got in my 86 Z-28 and it works and sounds alot better than the stock one did, that and the fact that my camaro now has a 350 from an 86 vette, but...

plus the fact that the camaros didn't have an option for the 350 until 1987, that left the 305 the biggest engine you could get, unless you built one yourself to put into it.

Ilove my 86 Z-28 also since I only paid 700 dollars for it and put around 3500 in it so far and the only problems I have are the heavy damn doors and the cooling system seems to have a new problem...

The coolant temp sensor was an issue, it had a busted harness so I changed it to a new one but still having issues with it.

Brand new distributer from CSK performance and accel module with new cap and rotor, and i had to go back to the stock autolite plugs.

No clue, but thats what it does and no one can figure it out, I pull the plugs and they are soaked in fuel and get fowled out about three or four weeks.
I've taken it to the shop and they charged me...

i can scrounge the picapart yards here for good hoods if you dont want to pay the 300 for a new one, i paid 50 for the fiberglass hood thats on my Z-28. just send me a message and let me know.

The 84 had a 5.7L 350 in it, they took the 350 option out of the 86 for some emissions reason and the only option then was tyhe 305 with either a carb or tuned port. but in 87 they decided to bring...

Due to misfortune my 86 Z-28 met a car and a gaurdrail on the freeway so it now has iroc doors and fenders on it, one of the main differences is the striping itself was not the same between the two,...

I have the same injectors in my 86 Z-28 and I think they originally came out of the 305 that was replaced in mine too, I am upgrading as soon as possible due to the fact of the resistance being 16.5-...
