Okay, I forgot got to put the snap ring on that holds the pick up coil down. Its a little loose you can move it around up and down. Would this cause all the back firing?? I'm going to fix it tonight.

Took the ignition module and got it tested. It failed. Bought a new one, still doing it. If you give it any throttle it will back fire.

Alright. I think the pick up coil was bad. I can now get the car to idle but whenever I give it throttle it just back fire. the timing at 10 degree with bypass unplugged whenever i plug bypass in it...

I just went out and tried again. I can get it to start but then once i unplugged the bypass it just shuts off. With the bypass i get about 25 degrees btdc timing. I'm going to pull a plug tomorrow...

Alright. The tack moves to about 400-650 rpm when cranking. I checked the pick-up coil and it was reading no resistance so I replaced it, still doesnt start.

1989 Camaro 2.8. It will just keep cranking but will not fire. I have fuel pressure and you can hear the fuel pump kick on.

I was thinking it was the ECU because the wire that comes from the ECU to the fuel pump relay not energizing the fuel pump so I wired the relay to ignition, this happened maybe 6 months ago. Ecu...

You need to check and see if you got power to the orange wire going to the oil pressure switch. The tan/white from the oil pressure switch goes to the fuel pump. That is how you check the oil...

Yep its good. I think the ECU got burnt out on the fuel pump signal relay green/white wire. It only 85 for a new ecu, probably order one here in a few days.

Yep, your right. You won't be able to use an older style starter with this header. I had to use a ministarter and still had to ding in a little on the header.

Another Pic. I can also tell a big different in power switching from a hedman 1 5/8 to 1 7/8 and also 2" y pipe to a 2.5 y pipe flows alot better...just need some back pressure for some low end...

I just had to the trim the Crossmember a little to beable to get the y-pipes to fit. I'm going to take the car and have them put a flowmaster y-pipe and a 3" pipe all the way out the back.

I would probably replace the oil pressure sending unit first. If it still low how mnay miles are on the car? over 125K probably time for a bottom end rebuild. I would first get a new oil pressure...

I don't have angle plugs, but all my spark plug I can get with a socket but number 3 and and number 4, I have to use a 5/8 wrench. I would have no clue for angle plugs.
