Bill, That trunk release button was the first thing I disconnected. I realized it was an easy way for someone to steal my subs/amps... Of course I didnt realize that until after I found my passenger...

The pics in 91banditt2's link are showing a different setup underneath... They look like the same setup shown in my 98 service manual.

The first schematic is of the lumbar support.
I'm not sure what you mean by 4 connections......

Apparently the S10 has an idler and pitman arm that are shorter than ours. That could potentially solve the issue with our tie rods hitting the k-member. I wonder if that would be a better solution...

Pocket I didn't think to try and flex it. And I wouldn't have tried channel locks with the nice powder coat job. The way the guide pins seated the k-member it...

Got my K-member from PA Racing today. Boy was I excited! Then I realized my stock bolts didn't fit :mad:... So I went out and bought some 10.9 Grade bolts at True Value (Loews didn't have any 10.9)....
