just found out that I am not getting any spark..

could that have anything to do with the timing chain replacement? even though it started twice after the job and ran for about 20 min till i shut...

What I was trying to say is that my gauge shows 35 but at the same time when I had it in a shop their gauge was showing over 40 PSI so thats why I think the pressure is fine..and I did a major tune...

Well, I got about 35 PSI, thats the pressure I was getting from my gauge always when the car ran fine. When I had it actually at a shop once they got higher PSI than my cheap gauge..

Fuel pumps turning, fuel pressure is checking alright, no codes, don't have anybody around right now to check spark. I was thinking that maybe some of the coolant got into some electrical connections...

I didn't do nothing, I bought it like that, just want to replace shocks as I am going to put 10" wide wheels (275,60,r15) in there - well, i dont know if they are going to fit in there yet

I would like to get any recommendations about what kind of shocks to get for my rear, it is lifted about 5" up. I don't want to spend too much on it, any suggestions are appreciated.

the guy said he checked the compression as well and that it was around 175 psi (which sounds a bit high to me, but...), I guess the compression testers they loan at autozone might not work that great

It does'nt run that rich, if it even is, after I fixed the leaking cold start valve. The thing now is the backfire, hard to start and stall condition..it looks like if some plug wires were crossed...

A retired mechanic sugested to check the compression after he seen it so I did and it checked from 105 to 115 psi, so within limits.

Ideas what might be the problems would be appreciated,...

What size is that bolt ? Seems like 9/16 is too small and 5/8 too big, can't really get there, sockets falling down all the time..

Do they loan anywhere diagnostic scanner or something I could find out what is going on with it ? I know they loan the OBD scanners at autozone but they work just for cars 93 and newer if I remeber...

I installed new reman MAF as well as new coolant temp sensor, the connection at coolant TS is well tight.

The fuel injectors were originally for Ford, I think, 15lbs, about 1/4 inch shorter than...

Injectors and CSI both checked, all good, no leak, still rich as hell, runs really poor and stalls quickly, also a lot of white smoke from exhaust. What about oxygen sensor or catalytic converter?...

Checked the injectors and they seem to be allright, no leaking, just one of them got the pintle cap sucked in the intake, was able to get it out but I don't like that..

About checking the CSI,...

I am not sure if I will be able to pull the fuel rail that far with the cold start valve hooked up..the injectors are a shorter than the original ones but they don't seem to leak from the rail, the...

I put a new coolant temp sensor few days ago. I just looked again on the injectors and they no good..seemed that as I replaced the pintle caps the replacement was some crap product and did not hold...

The fuel pump was replaced less than two years ago in a shop, so I am not sure how good of a job the guys did, they did some other work on my car afterwards and I found they put old parts in..:mad:...

OK, I retested the spark and it is nice bright white spark, so I am assuming that eliminates the problems with ignition.
On the other hand with the fuel pressure - it seemed allright and steady...

My fuel pressure drops from around 40 PSI to about 30 PSI within 2 minutes after turning the key to on position, without starting the engine. Does hold when I clamp the supply line. Allready changed...

all the spark plugs are covered shiny black till I clean them with some cloth..If you mean ignition coil, that I did replace, pick up coil not, that I just checked resistance on and it was allright

Yes I reset the ECM. I am pretty much able to start it any time now, it just takes longer cranking and it does run poor with a knocking noise and stalls after a while/or when I hit the gas.
