head bolts are cheap if in dout replace them cheep insurance but Ive reused stock head bolts many times and never had a problem just put some moly lube on them before torquing them down.

jumping from the yellow wire to the purple on the neutral safty switch should bypass all that it should crank but might not run without the signal going to the computer atleast...
