The car didt start doin this until 6-8 weeks after the detriot locker was put it... the car is on stands ill have to see how long it take the driveshaft to turn as I spin the tire

I almost think it has to be in the rear end because the car is sittin on jackstands you can hear the clunk from the rear end all the way up to the trans... I would think scince the suspension isnt...

I have a 86 Iroc with a 383 700r4 and a recently rebuilt rear end with a detriot locker... as soon as I rebuilt the rear end the car started wheel hoping on hard launches and burnouts maybe a month...

Blew my rear end put a new Eaton Detroit Locker in it now wheel hops when starting a burnout / when it hooks what suspension wise can I do to correct this? the car hooked posi before but never wheel...

Already tapped it out.. I think it will work one size bigger bolt not like your normal carb stud.. bracket still moves scared to crank it down to much. .

I hhave the same set up but diffent holley throttle bracket and my trans still shifts to early and I think I have the tv cable set right

car ran a 13.40 @ 105 un tuned and trans shifting to early Im sure to see 12s after the tunning and issues are worked out

so for a 86 IROC originally a 305 TPI car 700r4 I had the trans rebuilt he asked if I wanted the shift points changed I said no does shifting at 3-3500rpm 1-2 WOT sound normal?

yes I mean the rears break loose at 1700 sorry about the wording, that's just with a street tire I thought maybe it would stall up alittle better at this point the 1-2 shift is whats keeping me from...

fresh 383 maybe 10 miles on it keeps fouling plugs , I know the carb needs to be tuned better any other things that would cause this

TPI to carb mechanical fuel pump issue

so I swapped from Tpi to carb I am using a mechanical fuel pump and trying to pull threw the stock Tpi lines, the car will loose fuel pressure and die within 2 miles and even at idle for along time,...
