so what you are saying is that if i use the v6 wireing and ecm that i can cut the v6 harness to switch 6 injectors for 8 and reprogram the v6 to v8 ecm

alright so i was thinking that most of the items i want to keep with the car when i swap it are not controled by the ecm so i think i should put the 85 ecm and engine harness in the car seperate from...

Sounds like what happened o me fuel pressure might read fine bu u have to do a volume test on the file pump witch involves hooking up the fuel pressure gauge and obtaining a empty 2o oz bottle insert...

yes the gauge is the rod with the float on one end and the coiled wire thing on the other it operates off of restance in witch order i forget but theres 1 wire from that resestor thing to the cluster...

just an fyi any gm car with vats having a chip in the key can be bypassed by measureing the resestance in ohms of the key chip and going to radio shack and buying that same resestance in resestors...

got it the fuel pump was generating sufficant pressure but was NOT genreating enough fule volume basicly we hooked a pressure gauge up and at idle i had 47 +- psi but when you increased the...
