Re: 500hp 1/4mile

Do you have the engine dyno'd or did you do a chassis dyno? I am curious how you know that there is valve float at 7200 rpm and that the engine makes 500 hp.

Re: 500hp 1/4mile

Way too much gear. 3.06 first gear in the 700R4 and 4.56 with a 28" tire... You will be going through the finish line a lot higher than the predicted 7100 rpm above. For instance, I shift at 6800 rpm...

Re: 2018 COTY **Winner**

Congrats on a really nice car! I have to ask, how are you running 9.59 at almost 140 at Lucas Oil Raceway (NHRA track) without even having a rollbar? At that mph and speed you are looking at needing...

Re: 2017 Updates

I looked into rons injection pretty heavily, however I did not want to go to a belt driven pump yet as I was unsure if alcohol was going to be 100% what I was after having had 0 experience with it....

Re: Trying to break into 11's

Just to update this... I thought it was funny. Just pulled the motor to go through the gaskets for the first time since 2011. I have made 650+ passes. I'm guessing roughly 600 of those have been in...

Re: 12 second thirdgen build . help

Personally, I don't think you should run slicks yet. Drag radials will be better on your stock rear end and keep it together a lot longer than a pair of slicks. If you get a 9" then i would go...

Re: TRuSTART Rolling Out Nationwide

It was my understanding that TRUstart will only be applicable to bracket style racing. Think about it... If you are racing a heads up race, the racer who redlights worse will lose anyway as they will...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but how does trustart effect heads up racing at all? If the only change is that now instead of the slower car redlighting first being the automatic loser, the win is delayed...
