I live in NJ and AC availability was a major factor in my choosing the 3rd gen. I had been looking at late 60's Chevelles, but the lack of AC on most of the convertibles made me look at other options...

It's all in the prep work, that's what takes the time and costs the $. If you do all your own prep work, it can seriously cut the cost of a good spray.

I have zero mechanical knowledge. I thought if the clutch went out that when you pressed in the pedal and tried to get it in a gear it would just grind. The car goes in to all the gears just fine,...

They should have an app on TGO called Wish List, where users enter in the parts they want by part number and the various suppliers post their price and then we could buy the stuff through the TGO...

Thank you. I graduated high school in 1988 and the Iroc convertible was what I wanted when I was 17. Now that I'm 40, I finally got one.
I have zero mechanical interest, but I paid $8k for the car....
