It doesn't surprise me as what some shops get away with and what some accept as quality work.

A high end shop, getting high end dollars, for high end work, should have a Pro-Spot or similar...

If it's the springs , should be able to put a jack under the low corner and seat will latch but.. sounds as if there is other damage, not everything makes it to carfax, the back half of these cars...

Solid advice above, talk to the painter, some paints don't buff well after xxx time. High speed polisher? A 5000 rpm high speed angle grinder should not be used. Like stated it's a multi-step...

Yeah, if your not experienced you can really stretch the metal and make more work, it's not that bad, an afternoon's work for the body work side.

X2 on system pressure, with no pressure it will slowly heat up, pressure test the system, Running without a thermostat doesn't keep coolant in the rad long enough to effectively cool it.

Don't know how you set valve lash for it to run 200 miles with it bottomed out, but you really need to think about disassembly to get all the shavings out of the engine, A lot of heads run longer...

It could really benefit from a cam change to take advantage of the heads. From the numbers I've seen they flow well from .400 up. The cam that's in there is similar in specs to the Gm 290hp 8.5...

Could be several things, not enough fuel, coil not keeping up, ignition module, not enough valve spring for the cam, need more specifics on the combo

Automatic or manual? Would think if it was engine you would hear the noise all the time. My 700r4 made some unusual grinding/whirring type noise that seemed to be coming from the engine compartment...

The 92 truck 350 runs a weighted flexplate. Whatever flywheel goes on has to be weighted/balanced accordingly

I see the same problem with the fender, left side is bulged, loses the scalloped area as the right side has.
