Hmm, I was hoping for a magical fix I guess. Should've known, it's never easy. I just bought some replacements on Ebay so if I can split those between the screws that might be a solution. Can't hurt...

My springs are wore out anyhow so I really couldn't tell a difference in rolling it up but if it is stiffer it certainly isn't bad to deal with.

Greg, sounds like this circuit board might be a good fix. In your expert opinion do you think it would also address high reading tachs? At about 70 mph I'm doing 6750 rpm according to my tach lol.

I agree with Firebat here. I am thinking about that 5" spoiler too for tax season. You don't see that everyday. And it should replace the original OEM spoiler pretty easily. You have some work to do...

I did check the timing and the coil does sound like the culprit the more I think about it. I think I'll just buy a new one and be done. Can't hurt I guess.

Well, the car runs fine when I keep the rpms up. I was wondering if the high rpms allowed the spark to jump or something.
