Thanks for the response!

Its a roots style supercharger. Do you know offhand any reputable companies that do custom camshafts? I dont mind spending the money to do it right.

Hypothetically speaking, if i were to supercharge a 3.1 V6 and was planning on upgrading the camshaft as well, what type of specs should i be looking for? I know there arent exactly a ton of options...

Since i cant get anywhere with chip tuning i may try another route. If im removing all of the emissions equipment and NOT running the stock computer controlled carb do i need the ECM for anything?...

Sorry to bump an old thread but i can confirm that this is more involved on a firebird. The only extra step is cutting away metal on the plate that covers the front area since its not open like it is...

Not sure what to say, they stated and then confirmed they dont offer an l88 hood for our cars. They do offer a standard hood, pinned or bolted, for $500. Not sure what FMLA e is supposed to mean. lol

Contacted VFN and they no longer do custom work so a complete l88 style hood isnt available. They do sell standard hoods and two different size l88 scoops seperately though.

Its not my kit, i just noticed it was missing. To be honest finding a whole kit is the hard part. Odds are you could find a partial one easier and just get those 2 pieces to the kit.

I would consider this in a heartbeat if i could also get needles as well but they dont offer them for third gens. Even then itd be cutting close to other nicer options (imo).

punisher - At the very least i should have them in the housings within a few days. The car is a little ways away from me right now (because of school) so i have to plan a day to go and install them....
