I don't mind a bit of noise and oh well so I have to pull valve covers off and adjust them every so often. that's the joys of owning a v8 getting your hands dirty

I just prefer the mechanical flat tappet cams over rollerized. Less moving parts and more use compatibility and handling. Roller rockers aren't so user friendly they either work or the don't. Not to...

Wow I said 1406 heads that was totally wrong that's the edelbrock Carb the heads are 416 HO's which I am going to do the porting on once the motors out.

OK. Well still leaves the question of what can I do to make the 305 better. I'm not switching motors until I have a 400 cid block set up cause that is the motor I am planning on swapping into it....

BC does not require to have a cat if its older then 85 or 86. My question now is if I leaned out the Carb and lowered the timing a bit more would it pas as hydrocarbonsisbasically unburnt fuel. So...

Thanks again. Any ideas why I am puking the fuel out though. I put 234 km (roughly 150 miles) on with a tank and a half of gas. I know its a v8 and they don't sip gas like a 4 cyl rice rocket but...

Thanks to all I have figured out the problem finally. Whoever owned the car before me installed the fuel filter at the Carb backwards. After replacing fuel pump and kinks I'm the fuel line we pulled...
