Metal has "memory". It "wants" to go back to it's original form. I know your concern of the hole bend a paper clip so many times thing. If strength is a concern they can always weld some stock plate...

That blows. Best thing to do is have a body shop check the alignment on the subframe. That frame horn might be able to be pulled out. Depends on how many hours it would take to pull that horn out....

If everything checks out fine then it is probably the only thing you cannot check with testors, meaning the cat. And if nothing else a new cat can mask some engine condition problems like a leaky...

Some things to consider
- amp rating of the fan motor
- solid connections and ground, make sure ground wire is as big as supply wire
- bad controller

Don't know man. Never had an 87. I would guess it would work with the 86. The response I got from Actron at the time was that they wrote the program with the GM programming they had. Their reasoning...
