Re: Door hinge pins and bushings. Questions.

Here's an update:

I finally purchased a Dremmel tool. It's the Dremmel 3000. and it's one step down from the top of the line model. Variable speed and works really well. I used it, yesterday,...

Re: Door hinge pins and bushings. Questions.

Thanks for the input. I was looking at the hinges some more, and yes, I'll definitely need a dremmel tool. I'm going to order the detent pins and rollers before I start anything. I'll keep the...

Re: 1984 Z28 Instrument Cluster Removal

Thanks for the input. I've seen that thread, before, but apparently, I didn't read pages 2 and 3. I went back and read the entire thread, and I was able to figure it out.

Okay, I have a '84 Z28, and I'm trying to remove the instrument cluster so I can clean the bulb sockets and to replace the speedometer cable. I've read several threads about this, but I have a few...

Thanks for the response. I appreciate that.

Re: Oil&Temp indicators

Also, after the engine warms up, the oil thins out somewhat from a cold state. You will probably see higher oil pressure when it's cold as opposed to being warm.

Re: Oil&Temp indicators

Oil pressure will probably never reach 60 psi. Usually, it'll get up to 40-45 psi ... maybe 50. What you're seeing is normal.

Re: 1988 Pontiac GTA stopped running. Help

Check the air intake and air filter. Some grass or some trash in the grass may have possibly gotten sucked into the air intake and is choking the air flow.

Yes, the oil gauge indicates oil pressure in PSI (pounds per square inch). Temp gauge is in degrees F. If the engine was warmed up and just sitting there while idling, I'd say these indications look...

Re: Anyone with wideband o2 sensor ? What values should I get

Yes, the broadband O2 sensor connected to both the gauge and ECM could cause a possible problem because of parallel resistances.

Since the QJ gets feedback from the ECM depending on what the O2...

Re: Removing All Emissions Items, carb change needed?

The CCC Quadrajet needs the O2 and CTS connected to the ECM and functioning for the ECM to provide feedback to the carb. If you intend on removing the ECM, I would go with a different carb.
