Re: To 350 swap or not

I'll tell you what everybody told me about investing money in a 305....don't waste a penny on it.

I pulled my 305 and now in the process of building a carb 383. Looks like total cost for the build...

Just pulled it out my 86, had less than 200k on it. Great for parts, otherwise needs gaskets at least. Engine ran a week before it was pulled.

It's only taking space in my garage as I...

Re: To Strip Or Not To Strip That Is The Question

Stripping my z28 down to metal seems like a must with the horrible paint job that was done to it.

Re: wheel well, black paint or undercoating?

I'm in the same boat, I need to get the bottom side painted so I can start installing parts back on. Under coating seems to be the best option for durability.

What's the best stuff to use?

Re: Right Stuff Detailing brake conversion kit

They look like great kits, but you could get what you need out of a newer car.
I'm currently overhauling my third gen and the cost to rebuild and convert to disc isn't reasonable.

Re: What founders performance arms and panhard bar?

Glad I came across this and for the price it's great. It seems like running the rod ends all around would be best, didn't see anything about a 3 piece poly bushing.

Re: Can i run my engine w/o A.I.R. system?

This is just the info I was looking for. I just picked up a 86 z28 and it seems the previous owner did a half *** job of trying to remove it all.
