the HF125 contorller from https://www.autocoolguy.com/home would control these fans really aweosmely.
I used several of these controllers on my builds, and they ramp up the PWM/speed of the fans...

thanks i have a non vortec, 383 but its extrernal balance, so there are no "thin" balancers to be able to use the efi connection 'vortec' parts.,

120 degree ambient, with AC on, and sitting in traffic, nope, not enough to cool.

id did bolt the engine to the trans last night and put the hood back on.
took the easy way out for the old motor mounts, used a cut off wheel and zipped the heads off. put the new mounts on the...

ahhh, umm, nearly one year since my last post... again lol

just pulled the hood ooff and got the gantry crane set up, time to sit the new/old engine in and maybe bring this back to life this...

yes sir thats what ill be doing.
I have a built engine, and the dampener is too thick to use the EFI/vortec timing cover, so most likely going to use a msd wheel on the damper and the vortec...

Hmm, go to a 3rd gen site and ask who does tuning on 3rd gen PROMs and get treated like a dipshit.

is anyone tuning the old chips, or is the 0411 conversion the only way to go for now and future usage

I used a gentleman some time ago and he has since retired.
Who can do tuning now? No I don't want to learn, i want to send my chip out and have it come back 'ready to go'

New motor had been built, and it’s currently in a plastic bag.

Had a brother pass from cancer, and my mom pass from age.

sylvania replacemnt lights at your local parts store. and make sure your grounds are good. dim lights are usually caused by bad grounds. super easy to check/fix if needed. the syalvania lights are...

no clue, dyno testing wasnt needed, not a race car. but first, 2nd and thrid gears were smoke screens..
