Everything looks okay on the outside.

I changed the oil and the noise has toned down dramatically. Oil pressure is better. Would that be a good sign that it is a bottom end issue?

I just cleaned the connections off. All 4 wires at the starter. Starts faster when cold now. But didnt solve the issue when hot.

Any other ideas? I saw DEI makes a starter blanket/shield… maybe...

So should I wire brush the ring terminals to get some corrosion off?

I was thinking about upgrading the Big 3 since I have subs and 2 amps in the back. Maybe throw in a larger starter wire too???

There is pressure before cranking. Ill have to buy one of the ALDL cables and look at the data.

Pump does prime. I tested fuel pressure before the replacement and it was around 7. After replacement, its up to 13. Replaced with an ACDelco pump

I'm going to revive this thread again.

So the car is still doing the same thing. Has a hard time starting when cold and I've noticed crank times are much longer on initial startup for the day....

I snapped a couple of pictures. Is the center link backwards or do the inner tierods just need switched to the other side?

I connected it. Turned key on. Disconnect. Turned key off. Connect. Didn’t do anything. Acted just like it did before.

Is there something I’m missing?

Fuel pressure is 9-10. Fuel filter was changed with a K&N a year ago.

I can’t really start the car without giving it some gas. When it’s warm, I can start it without the gas most of the time.

I plan on getting new stock springs from Moog. Sway bars, LCA’s, panhard bar, etc. its all stock.

My plans are to get new shocks, springs, all new bushings, and tires are on the way right now....

Looking at the Bilstein's right now. There is only one Bilstein shock available everywhere and it is the B6 Rear Shock.

Where are the front shocks?...

Makes sense. But what does the “vac motor” and “temp sensor” need this line for? If it isnt a potential fix to my starting problem, then I’m not gonna bother, so that’s why I’m so curious lol

I bought a new overflow tank and thermostat housing. I flushed my entire system and after I put everything back and started adding coolant, it only took like 1 1/2 gallons of coolant. It’s filled up...

Oh I agree. I’m just saying these are better than what I had. It came to me with Sylvanias, then I put Silverstars on, now these are on here. I love them. Easiest installation I’ve had too :)

I had silverstars and IMO, these are much better lol. The silverstars are wayyyy better than the Sylvanias that were on there, but these LED’s are bright as hell.
