Did you solve this? I have same issue but no cam, no catch can. Just long tubes. Bank 1 is 25% at idle dips a bit on rev. Bank 2 looks correct.
Swapped HO2s to see if problem followed. Still Bank 1.

Is that how you ended up running it? My 89 had the heater changed before i bought it. it has a shut off valve on it as well that has always been closed off. i let the car run and got no heater after...

Well Sure enough I pressed on the lower right side of instrument cluster, bam! Its back to normal!
If i release it, it goes back to acting up. Time to take it off and check it out!

I've been known to fix something and think that it solved it, but it peaks it head again.

Also what is this plastic block you speak of?

Also, I had future plans on buying one of those fancy ALDL connectors to USB and using my laptop to monitor whats going on with my motor. Would that data it log be able pick up on fuel related info?

Now hypothetically speaking, if it's due to the fuel pressure, would it be as "simple" as replacing the fpr?

Also, if it was fuel pressure, wouldn't that mean it should do it thru out the time i'm...
