the heads just came off a 383 with dome pistons, he ran it with 93 oct mixed with 112 oct

and before they were on a 350 30 over, it pinged a little with 93 oct and as if the heads will flow he...

by the way I called and canceled the comp XR288HR and went with the XR282HR.......gives me a .544in .555ex max lift with the 1.6 rr's.........sound a little betters fellas???

as stated above reverse has no real syncro and...

as stated above reverse has no real syncro and putting it in 5th then back syncrizes it, because it grinds doesnt neccesserily mean its going out, if you notice driving other 5 speeds it is not at...

I myself have driven that exact year and make of car, and at the same time I owned a 26000 mile 92rs LO3 5 speed, my opinion is the rs will rip it off the line but the 300 will eat it up on the top...

ok got the 186 heads today, talked to uncle and he said they were milled to 50cc, 2.06 intake....doesnt remember the exhaust side..any way with those heads,

lucky in getting the 186's or pops machine shop that I know nothing about....im a tranny mechanic not an engine mech...he has a junk yard but all the good heads have been carried off long ago

uncle has a set of 3927186 castings that have been magnafluxed, ex-rayed, intake ported to either 204 or 206?, and milled 100,000 yes 100,000 that I can have cause im the good nephew that helps him...

being that the car isnt an everyday driver, think it would be worth doing? Rather than trying to find spairs and spend money on them, just let the car sit an have the swirl ports bored out and milled...

yes I found somebody who had the swirl ramp cut out of the intake side of the swirl port heads.He said the improvement was astonishing.Cant remember the exact port size when it was done but he said...
