The very 1st pic (in the driveway w/ 2 firebirds on the street) on this thread is with the hood latched. The hood seems thicker than the stock hood which might or might not be contributing to this....

I think there are 10 overhead consoles and 4 sets of ttops. I know there are 2 glass tops and 2 plastic sets of ttops.

If you are talking about the amp, it's not hard to get. If I remember correctly, it sits to the left of the computer. You just have to remove the bottom panel of the dash where your knees would hit....

I'll check. I have a complete all original system from a low mileaged car that I'll see who the speakers are made by. It'll be about a week or so though as they are in storage.

The amplifier. It's under the bottom panel of the passenger side dash. It's small and silver. They are usually dead though.

The system itself wasn't great and was somewhat common on the mid 80's models. I'd give you $5 for the trim if you could still get it. I could use a spare myself. See if the slider switch is still in...

I don't mind. I was never too sure about the chrome on the doors myself, but it matched some other chrome on the car, (handles, steering wheel, pedals, valve covers, pulleys, oil pan, exhaust tips)...
