they were made for a 3rd gen, but i ended up putting engine in my 2nd gen and bought another new set for it.

im suprised too. Still brand new, wouldn't clear startup stand when we fired up the 615 a couple weeks ago.

nope, still have them, was thinking of bolting them on my 615 on the startup stand to fire it up sometime, they still have never been used. i bought them to put the engine in a 3rd gen but ditched...

as long as its 305 block casting numbers i say run it....i didn't stroke it....and for what im running it won't need it. but i have no issues with running against stroked 305's

i don't really want a 3rd gen, things are built too weak. my 2nd gen runs mid 9's with a bone stock rear end. more room for exhaust and engine. i sold all mine to hawk :) heres a video of the 305...

i ran a performer cam in an almost stock 350 with 3:42s and it really worked great...idled great and pulled better than i thought it would. and i got it from a buddy for 50 bucks....was worth the try

for a tall deck big block, 2 3/8" stepped to 2 1/2" with 4 1/2" collectors, made by lemons.....now thats some big headers :)

i have a set of lemons for a tall deck 3rd gen for sale, brand new, switched cars, they a re 2 3/8 stepped to 2 1/2 with a 4 1/2" collector, i bought a set for my 2nd gen from them and they fit...

nothing out of the ordinary, just had to clearance the block and bottom of the cylinders a bit for the rods to clear them, the h beams give lots of cam clearance but come closer to the oil pan rail...

all stock rods are not created the same, when adrians was originally built i was building another one as well, and the other one the rods would not clear the cam, both were stock rods,the other motor...

oh it will break, we welded my buddies and this saturday he snapped an axle on his first run at the track witih street tires, then almost tagged it off the guardrail then spunn around a couple times...

well your gonna have a lot more than 1200 bucks into getting a t56 into that thing i bet, 1200 bucks is cheap for a well built auto...jamie has about 3000 into his 700 and stall, all hardened...

man,,,,how did i miss the ratio....3:23 and up you can put nice gears on....a lot of auto tpi 305s had 3:27s, we just took one out of an 87 bird 305 5 speed and it has 3:45s....so i would look...

you need to run up here....ran 10.6 in grand bend , no cage ,stock seat and belts and they didn't say a word....now that i ran a 9.9 with the cage and the proper seat and 5 pt harness they are on me...
