remember stock springs on vortec heads are obly good till about .470 lift. Id say a 350 with that cam and vortec heads a 650 should do fine

Oh and i ran an airgap intake and a Holley drop-base air...

Use a bypass regulator with an intank pump on a carb. On a customers car that was TBI I still used a bypass regulator just because they're better anyway. If your using a TPI pump its a must, dead...

Looks like the strainer for the 82-86 carbed cars is still available, Im thinking just cutting the tube off my bad carb sending unit and using the compression fittings to splice it to the efi unit....

the stuff that was on the car was poorly done, most of it came off with a regular scraper, also wire wheel and brushes to strip the rest and the surface rust off. Just be prepared to get real dirty...

Bought the Hawks replacement ABS headliner (hard top) a little over a year ago and it was in storage, laying flat with fabric side up, till about a month and a half ago when it was finally installed....

as far as i know, no aftermarket headers will bolt to the stock y-pipe, including these. An exahust shop should be able to make one no problem though
