4th gen pump? Notorious for over heating and blowing fluid out with the divorced reservoir/pump arrangement. Mine whips it up like butter if its filled to spec.... If I fill it RIGHT to the top it...

From my homework it sure seems that PSI isnt nearly as dangerous as too much timing with sbe stuff and boost, ESPECIALLY with a tight cam like stock or LS6 etc.

Swapping gen IV management is 100x more challenging than 24x stuff. The potential of the 58x systems is staggering, but the management freedom isnt nearly the same as the older 24x stuff which works...

Not really. There are LS2 blocks boosted to over 1000whp out there. Iron block 1200ish but after that the 4 bolt heads really dont cut the mustard and your into aftermarket stuff

PatG is a reputable tuner as well as a cam spec'r. He spec'd the cam in my car now which i really like, it hit the mark as he said it would. Its definitely worth looking into those LS7 manifolds...

If its a "header no good" issue the LS7 ZO6 manifolds flow quite well. Im not sure how you would fit them in a third gen, it would probably require a tubular k member but they flow quite well. Best...

A lot of that is in the tune up re headers. You really need to tune to your specific needs. Theres lots of guys around with long tubes passing emissions handily although im far from any kind of ace...

C5 Corvette, all the same iirc. The PN is in the sticky somewhere but say a 2001 stock C5 would be a safe bet. They use the push on clip style fitting common on pretty much everything 99+
