base timing is @ 10degrees. as foolish as it may be I think the problem was a faulty base gasket between carb and intake. I have never experienced that.

I recently installed an edelbrock 7501 performer air gap intake manifold in place of the weiand stealth. nothing else was changed. the car runs so poorly now it's almost not drivable. it's a 350 .40...

So I pulled the transmission out tore it apart replaced the pump bushing,o-ring,gasket and torque converter seal. I put it all back together just to find my leak still there!!! I then tore it all...

I have the same problem I just got my spacer from DTS cost 66 dollars.It wont work because now the ring gear wont center on the carrier . I would recomend buying a new set of gears for a 2 sieres...
