POR actually likes a bit of rust to stick to. As it says in the instructions, get the loose stuff off, but it is very OK to paint over rust. Thats what POR stands for. Also, it is very intolerant...

Lost spark, checked coil, changed ICM, checked distributor, seems it is nothing mechanical. The suggestion is that the VATs may be acting up. If so, will getting a chip burned that bypasses VATS...
