Well I guess that would be my fault as I thought I did post the results of my find. Thanks for the comment but all in the end a vacuum leak was to blame. If I remember it was off the vacuum ball area...

No need for a new wife harness either. As long as you're is good-then u can use it. You can use your ecu for 305 but as stated above have a prom but t for you.

well I went back and looked at it again. I do have the purple wire on the S terminal.
I did jump the solenoid and it did jump
I even added a ground from starter to motor and still nothing. thanks...

Agree spray with the sprayer and mine has been dipped for about a year and a half now. No peeling and easy to keep clean. Mine is a daily driver as well

this is a great image but there is one from the canister to a vacuum ball underneath it as well as if your car has cruise control check that vacuum line as well. Yes vacuum lines are the best...
