Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. I'm building a 4.3 with vortec heads, edelbrock vortec intake and most likely cammed. So this throttle body would be the icing on the cake.

Most exhaust leaks are just lose bolt. If you live in the bay area, does it really get "hot?" You should just delete it(AC), fixing it would get pricey quick.

Same block It's the crank stroke that changes, and pistons are different. Besides, your torque flatens out quicker than a 350. Think 383, its stroke for torque!

Also crunch the numbers to rebuild...

I saw a clean one on the freeway, didn't get to see it up close. My dd is a tercel. Don't laugh, it get 30+ mpg. No pep though, 80 hp. That you can laugh at.
