got one a pick a part in chandler today thanks though, just a heads up that place is gutted, only 2 icm in the entire yard and not a single f-body.... sad I guess their all going to the crusher...

yep ive got that one too, or when it rains and its all moist outside and the cars been sitting all day, hop in turn key on, everthing turns on and wont even get a click. Replaced distributor a while...

I went cheap the first time and went to autozone up the road, worked for about two weeks. I also figured I was gonna have to change it when I swap the lt1 save myself any headaches there

id say the real important question here is how the heck do you get your carpet back under the trim pieces after youve cut and swapped the pump, i bet i had more time into trying to get the carpet...

i dont think it will fit.... just turn the black hose face it forward doesn't look too bad, or just buy new valve covers with a spot for a breather

i just went to autozone and bought one of the small breather filters, put it in the rubber line and hose clamped it on, been like that for about 3 years now and ive never failed visual

yea i was having some weird starting issue too, sometimes it would just make a loud click like the starter couldn't turn the flywheel but now im thinking it was the distributor not wanting to turn

no spark

so ive been doing alot of reading about the ignition system just wondering if im correct in the assumption that if the distributor is bad then there will be no spark and the tbi injectors wont fire....

quick update, i checked for spark from the cap and got nothing so i checked for spark from the coil and still nothing, maybe the reluctor went bad so nothing is sparking? thanks

so i got the distributor in right, got it started had one hell of a spark knock so i keep adjusting it around and it doesnt matter how far i put it either way it wont stop knocking when i give it...

yep just intakes + all the vacuum stuff, i figured it was timing i got it started the first time, ran like garbage my buddy said its running like that cause distributor was in backwards flipped it...

TTT, come on no one wants to 9 bolt caust its too expensive to fix, i just need the brake weights and springs, and brake lines if you have them, i will give ya 30 bucks for em and can pick the up...
