I will consider trades for wave runners or late model low-mileage cars in immaculate condition.

Re: 1987 Camaro IROC-Z, 35K Original Miles, 427ci

You're right, it's a steal. I put the car up for sale about a year ago at $11,500 and I'm at $10,500 now. A fair price for a great car. Just a tough time to sell anything.

The car got a brand new battery and some carb fine-tuning this past weekend. It's running great. I will consider all legitimate offers.

Spring is finally here. I took the car out over the weekend and it's running great. Let's get this thing to a new good home.

Re: 1987 Camaro IROC-Z, 35K Original Miles, 427ci

The car has run 11.9@116 at Englishtown right off the street during Power Tour (normally apsirated). That was with a 1.74 60'.

I sprayed the car 1 time at a local test and tune. On a 100-shot,...

I ask myself that almost every day. I tried ebay last year with it and I might try again when the weather warms up a bit.

Anybody know this car?

Anybody know this car? Is the owner a member here? I'd love to get some of the specs on this thing.

The car was originally a 5-speed car but has been converted to TH350. The 5-speed pedal bracket and the clutch master cylinder hole in the firewall have been retained.

Re: 1987 Camaro IROC-Z, 35K Original Miles, 427ci

Thanks everyone. I feel it's a fair asking price even in the current conditions and I won't give it away. I'll just continue to have fun with it until the right buyer comes along.

The car got lots of attention and several offers at the Daytona show, but they weren't quite enough so the car came home with me. Still available.

Re: This months GM High Tech Performance Cover Car

I saw this car at Mike Norris' shop in the Orlando area earlier this year. Definitely one of the nicer 3rd gen's out there. Congrats on the cover.

Re: 1987 Camaro IROC-Z, 35K Original Miles, 427ci

The car is very driveable on the highway. But keep in mind, this is a hot rod with a very loud exhaust and no A/C, so I definitely wouldn't recommend it as a daily driver.

Thanks. --Neil

Re: 1987 Camaro IROC-Z, 35K Original Miles, 427ci

It might be tough through a local lender due the age of the car, but I highly recommend http://jjbest.com/ for financing special-interest/collector vehicles.
