Called Crutchfield and they didn't recommend the Retrosound. Instead they set me up with an Alpine unit and the line converter.

Now I've got to pull my amps and get them shipped off to repair.

It's has a Sony cheapo unit in it now without an adapter. It had a lot of high pitch whining in it most of the time.

I drove a 350hp car with a spool for a while, a well as a K5 Blazer on 33s and a V8 swapped 82 S10.

You don't drive it like a regular vehicle but it's not an amazing change either. Worst trouble...

After work today I installed the FS113 fan switch. It's on at 215°F and off around 203°F. Combined with the newly installed air dam under the radiator, my engine stays nice and cool around town now....

We put about 200 miles on the Camaro this weekend.

I took my middle daughter to the big cruise-in in Roanoke Friday night. Did some nice prostreet style burnouts for the folks lining the streets....

My air dam arrived today and I got it installed. Hopefully that will help my at-speed temperature issue.

If that gets the temps down on the highway, I'll be swapping to the FS113 fan switch...

The center 4 were all messed up so I drilled them 1/4" and used bolts and nuts.

The outer two I used some big TEK screws through the damaged nutserts.

It sounds like you wound up with the wrong pump, even if the part numbers are what they are supposed to be. A 3x output from a pump like that would be pretty unlikely.

I'm pretty certain it's the earlier ECM. Hooked up with Tunerpro and used the $4D mask (88 LO3 only) and got good knock values where the $61 mask kept giving me an ERROR in the knock field.

I picked up an ALDL cable and downloaded the ALDLdroid app to start logging.

My car is titled a 1989 but the line set sheet is dated 11-88. So I tried the 746 mask but didn't get much data....

Picked up my fan switch from NAPA today and got it installed. Verified it functioned properly but I was soaked in coolant and sweat so I didn't take it for a drive.

Got it out for the summer this weekend. Put on a new set of Falken tires and just ordered a FS110 fan switch from NAPA to cut the fan on earlier.
