i bet there is excessive clearances within the engine somewhere, when engine oil gets hot, it thins, making it more viscous, the thin oil is not acting like a guard, as it would when its cold, this...

ive always had good luck with an oem pump, you didnt say what kind of car you had, but if its efi, then i know the oem pump would go in the tank, which would mean removing the tank for installation,...

yeah i thought immediantly somethin is goin on with the regulator, it shouldnt slam back to 0 pressure as soon as you kill the ign. if you find out why its doin that, you may fix your complaint

the easiest and most sure thing to do, assuming that the pump is getting proper power and ground, and the relay is good. would be to get a fuel pressure gauge with a long hose, and hook it up like...

check the bottom two, 0.45 volts closed opening progressivley to 5.0volts, it should be a nice smooth transition, you dont need to ohm it out if this is ok, obvioulsy do this with the key on, engine...

if you have a 10 bolt rear end i would suggest throwin some gears in it, since you can probably get new ones for about $150, if you have a 9 bolt, there gonna cost you about 350-505, but you can...

you probably have the wiring messed up somewhere, double and triple check it, wire up the pump with out any relay,just to see if it works first, happy motoring, dr engine

i had a tpi 5.7, with exhaust, msd, air foil, ported plenum, underdrive pulleys, and maybe some other oddball stuff with a true 100 shot of juice (wet kit), and never had any problems

i dont know what kind of car you are putting this in, but if your putting it in a thirdgen camaro/firebird, then you most likely are going to use shorty headers, and shorty headers will not clear...

its always a good idea to use new lifters with a cam swap, i also would get new pushrods, since there sorta cheap, be sure to get the proper length rod though, if your new lifters are taller/shorter...
