Did this mod to mine several years ago for exactly the same reason. Instead of "persuading" the wheel well, we built a recessed box into the drivers side. Nice work!

We just mocked up a drop base and old 4 inch K&N that was laying around. Very, very close fit, so it looks like a 3 inch will do the trick.

Came across an auction for them on ebay. They're sold by www.suspensionmax.com and are almost half as much as the Eibach and Hotchkis springs.

Finally found a post that answered my own...

Finally found a post that answered my own question. Iroc springs and regular spring are the same height. The 1/2" difference in the ride height must come from the wheels.

Hotchkiss sleeves

What benefits do they have? Hold alignment better? More responsive? I'm thinking about using them in my front end rebuild this winter. (If anything, they look pretty.) :D

Look into Rezn8r's kicks. I have the q-forms, and they are real crap. I got them cheap here in the classifieds. I would really be upset if I had paid anyway near $200 for them.

I took a different approach. I have an 83 SC and changed the suspension components over to Z28 quality or better. Keep the no gfx style and throw in a 305 HO and posi rear and I have a sleeper.
